Whether this is your first exploration of Tantrik Yoga or you’re a long-term practitioner of these traditional teachings, this foundational retreat will offer you an overview of some of the essential philosophy, practices, and contemplations of the Tantrik tradition.
This retreat will dive into the fundamental practices of Tantra such as the energy body, central channel and chakras. It will touch on deities and their role in practice plus bring attention to the ever present Awareness in our lives.
While the content of the retreat is foundational, the retreat environment and container will be ideal for all levels to immerse in practice and liberation from mind suffering.

Sunrise Ranch, Loveland, Colorado, USA
Sunrise Ranch sits at the base of the Rocky Mountains and is a little over an hour’s drive from Denver Airport. With the crisp mountain air and remote location, the ranch is the perfect environment to immerse in the teachings of classical Tantra. While we do not provide transfer options to and from the center, we will assist you in facilitating ride shares.

Meet Your Guide
Hareesh is the author of Tantra Illuminated: The Philosophy, History, and Practice of a Timeless Tradition and The Recognition Sutras: Illuminating a 1,000-Year-Old Spiritual Masterpiece. Initiated into the practice of yogic meditation at the age of 16, Hareesh received traditional yoga education at ashrams in upstate New York and India. He then gained higher education at the Universities of Berkley and Oxford in religion and classics, Sanskrit, and classical Indian religions.
