The interdependence of Love and Death and why it matters
Uncover the silent presence pervading all of your experience
Join us in Tepoztlán, Mexico for this transformative exploration into life and death during Día de Muertos.
This retreat will be a beautiful deep dive into traditional Tantrik teachings on desire, love, attraction (and repulsion), passion, sexual energy, and how embracing the reality of death can bring clarity and maturity to our interactions and experiences in these realms. Most of us live in denial of death emotionally, even if we accept mortality intellectually. True intimacy with mortality is a powerful ally that can increase passion, bring more meaning to life, and amplify the vividness of all our experiences. In this retreat we’ll learn how to make death our friend so that we can live more fully.
Our home for the retreat is nestled in Tepoztlán, an ancient Aztec site rich in history, mythology and Mexican culture. The retreat will be filled with generous servings of authentic Mexican food as well as many rich teachings on love, life and death! Each day will also provide two engaging asana practices along with ecstatic kirtan.
