COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Community Stewardship Team

In the Tantrik view, being part of a community has great significance. As the layers of our conditioned identity start to peel away, the support, friendship, and recognition of oneself in the other become key components of our awakening process. We are the TI Community Stewardship Team, dedicated to nurturing a thriving community of spiritual practitioners engaged in the study and practice of Classical Tantra.

We aim to cultivate a cycle of feedback that fosters fruitful relationships between kula members and TI faculty and staff by acting as facilitators, mediators, and listeners within our community. We offer a safe space where individuals feel empowered to share their thoughts freely, without inhibition.

We Invite You To:

Sarah Rasikā Taub

Sarah Rasikā Taub (she/her) teaches relationship and community skills and helps groups deepen their intimacy. She facilitates group processes, including consensus decision-making, business meetings and retreats, conflict resolution sessions, and ZEGG Forum, and leads consent support teams for retreats and festivals of 50 to 1500 people. Since 2004 she has been putting on multi-day retreats with Center for a New Culture based on awareness, compassion, and freedom rather than on fear and judgment. She lives with many of her co-creators in a small intentional community / retreat center in West Virginia, USA.

Sarah has been meditating since 2011 and studying Nondual Śaiva/Śākta Tantra with Hareesh since 2018.

What excites Sarah most is holding space for the deepest group conflicts so that an even deeper level of connection, understanding, and creativity can emerge.

Maria Raudri Rippo

Maria (Raudri) Rippo, MA resides in the Pacific Northwest outside of Seattle, close to the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest where she loves to spend time hiking and being in nature. She is mom to four young adults and has a private psychotherapy practice where she specializes in working with people who have experienced trauma and/or eating disorders along with many other challenging human experiences such as depression, anxiety, BPD, etc… Maria has participated deeply in other communities, before coming to NST, where she learned a great deal about what does and does not work well as far as supporting community members as well as staff.

Maria began learning from Hareesh in 2018 where she knew right away while reading Recognition Sutras, that she had found her path. She has participated in three 6 month immersions as well as retreats and many Satsangs.

Maria enjoys holding space for people as they process through challenging situations in a safe space where vulnerability allows for deeper inner as well as outer connection. If you ask her she might tell you where she got the name ‘Naughtyji.’😉
