The purpose of this retreat is to give spiritual practitioners greater access to their innate strength, power, and resilience. The title of the retreat does not refer to Kundalini awakening per se, but rather actualizing our potential to access what the tradition calls sva-bala, innate strength.
Through accessing our sva-bala, we find that we can better digest our experiences and release that which needs to be released from our past. We find resilience, "an unfailing sufficiency," and fresh inspiration to meet the challenges of our life as opportunities.
The tools & techniques of Tāntrik Yoga are uniquely effective in this regard. And this retreat we will meditate, move, dance, express, and find stillness as well.
Kashmir Valley Retreat

In this one of a kind retreat, we will explore the sacred sites and lush landscape of the Kashmīr Valley while engaging in practices, teachings, satsangs and kīrtan.
From our home base in Srinagar we will take daily excursions to soak in the history, temples, holy sites and sacred landscapes of the area where Tantrik masters like Abhinavagupta, Ksemaraja, and Utpaladeva lived and roamed.

The Blossoming of Awareness Workshop
This dynamic daylong immersion will be a deep dive into the teachings and practices of nondual Tantrik Yoga.
Sanskrit scholar and traditional teacher of the Trika lineage Christopher Wallis (aka Hareesh) will provide an orientation to the View of nondual Shaiva Tantra and share examples of the two principal types of practice from that tradition: awareness cultivation and activation of the energy-body.
This daylong immersion promises a fresh take on practices familiar to those acquainted with classical Tantra or Vajrayāna, but will also be accessible to those new to these teachings. (Some meditation experience is recommended but not required.)

Bondage & Liberation: The Tantric Path
