What is a Mandala?
Originally a maṇḍala meant a temporary large-scale Tantrik diagram used for meditations and Tantrik initiation rites.
The term is also used to indicate a map representing deities and powers that constitute the universe and can represent the spiritual journey, starting from the outside to the inner core, through layers. Here we would like to evoke the maṇḍala of our community practicing, supporting and being on the path together. We are not separate beings but part of a greater maṇḍala.
